Like many others I found myself a few years out of an athletic career out of shape and giving zero attention to my long term health and fitness. I had a moment where I decided I had to change or I would end up somewhere that would be hard to return from. I got into a conventional gym and worked out until I had lost close to 60 Lbs. It was in this moment, I realized the benefit mentally and physically behind making my health and fitness a priority. Through my rebound journey from being overweight and in overall poor health, I decided I would give bodybuilding a try to fill a competitive void and in my mind to complete the overall transformation. In my three years as a bodybuilder, I learned more than I could’ve imagined about fitness nutrition and how the body reacts to exercise. I soon realized regardless of my love for fitness, I needed more to keep me going… I was invited to Crossfit by some family because they knew I was longing for a community in my fitness to keep me accountable and looking forward to exercise. Pushing my doubts aside and going through the intimidation to try Crossfit truly changed my life! I had moments I thought it wasn’t for me, but I listened to the advice of people I looked up to and continued forward despite wanting to do otherwise. The love I found for Crossfit led me to a desire to do more. I wanted to give back and give someone what I had been gifted by my peers at the gym. At the time, the only thing I could think to achieve this was becoming a coach. My passion since then has only grown and helping others has become what gets me out of bed each day.
I have a fantastic wife Jennifer and Two great boys Jax and Jameson! Cant forget about our dog Kain.
